(a) Human based research which does not at any stage involve the use of laboratory animals and which is designed to eliminate the use of laboratory animals; (b) Research which is designed to develop alternatives to either existing or putative animal models; (c) The training of researchers in non-animal research methodologies; (d) Other activities deemed by the Trustee* to be compatible with those set out in sub-clauses (a) - (c)
The MAWA Trust does not support the use of non-human animals, whether alive or dead, or the use of animal tissue, for any research or educational purposes whatsoever.
